Another facet of the academic circle is the computer classes. The attempt is to provide the latest in education to the students, taking them beyond the confines of textbooks.

The school has well equipped LAN based Computer room where each child is encouraged to independently work on Computers and their endeavors are supported by a well designed and completely updated computer curricula under the able guidance of teachers who specialize in the sphere. Overhead projectors and transparencies are other forms of aids used to provide thoughts and sharpen their intellect. The school has its own multimedia projector to augment technology classrooms. Comprehensive sets of advanced educational CDs are useful teaching tools to facilitat classroom teaching.

Day Boarding

The school runs a short duration day boarding for the Kindergarten and Primary classes under the supervision of trained staff. This facility has been provided for the children of working parents. This facility is extended to KG, I and II classes. The day boarding entails time for play, tiffin, rest and relaxation.

Sports

The DAV community generates a wide range of sports facilities thereby giving aspiring sportspersons a head start to exploit their latent sporting talent.

Taking advantage of many city stadia and sports complexes, we augment the sports facility by providing students practice under the able guidance of experts in the field. Various sports facilities provided by the school are basketball, football, gymnastics, table tennis, karate, cricket, swimming, yoga and athletics. The school sponsors students for inter-school, inter-state, national and international competitions. Given a battery of effective inputs, the number of national level players is heartening.
