Dayanand Anglo Vedic College Trust and Management Society, the largest non-government organisation that encompasses a very broad spectrum of educational activities in the country and abroad, has churned out millions of students during 114 years of its existence - many distinguished themselves at the national level as well as in the international arena. DAV Public School, Sector 8-C, Chandigarh, one of the premier institutes in the city was founded as a nursery School in June 1978. It was named after the principal donor Shri Dev Raj Aggarwal. From 1978 to the present status, the School has been extended to the secondary level - preparing children for examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
