The whole art of teaching is only the art of awakening the natural curiosity of young minds for the purpose of satisfying it afterwards.

School should be an arena of motivation and quality, the principle, being that in a spirit of healthy competition, each student in the process is spurred to greater heights.

The true purpose of education is to promote the joy of learning, a life long learning.  We need to develop internal motivation to learn.  They need to develop a desire for mastery, a desire for accomplishment and a sense of confidence in one's abilities. A caring teacher needs to understand this and nurture the student’s internal motivation and growth towards becoming life long learners.

An important aspect of school education is social commitments towards society.  It is very important to inculcate empathy towards under privileged children, senior citizens, work for environment preservation and sensitize young minds for active citizenship.
