As Principal of the school, I feel honored and privileged to be part of an educational institution where every stakeholder is a keen and enthusiastic learner. Every day offers an opportunity to desire, discover, grow, and glow. Being a true visionary, I am an avid supporter of effective and innovative professional development that encourages the faculty and staff to be reflective and continuously examine the practices to provide quality teaching and learning for each student. Our school community is one of strength and resilience. We continue to embed strong, confident, consistent, and fair practice regularly.

With an absolute commitment to strive to understand and improve the educational process while wholly centering on student achievement is our mission. Love and Logic are two diverse strategies the staff fruitfully employs to foster a positive learning environment for all students. It helps develop educational core skills - Critical thinking, Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration and nurtures trusting relationships where students feel respected and appreciated by the teachers and build up life skills to grow into Educated, Encouraged, and Enlightened human beings. 

We are committed to recognizing the need for a global perspective in life to meet the needs and challenges of the 21st Century, also adhering to traditional standards of educational possibilities for children to keep a connect with their identity. The revolutionary National Education Policy, NEP 2020, through inclusive, participatory, and holistic approach calls for a shift from an assessment system that is summative and primarily testing rote memorization skills to one that is more regular and formative, and more competency-based. We truly make a difference by accepting the challenge motivating children to believe in their abilities to reach for the stars, to reach great heights, ----and they can. 

 Our philosophy can be summed up neatly in a sentence that epitomizes what DAVPS is all about:

“Our students must be taught how to think, not what to think.” 

 My role as an educator is to guide and empower the next generation to establish skills to achieve health, respect, prosperity, and fulfillment. It echoes the words of Robert Browning: Ah, but a man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a heaven for?
